Good News

Owen much better. Hopefully coming home today or monday. He was so much better he gave me some cheek about putting weight on last night. Much happier about it.

Bad news though. I have found Oolite. Very similar to Elite of ages gone by. The bad news is that time will disappear with me playing it.

Clocks go forward.

And a lovely days weather it has been too. Warm, sunny then rain in the afternoons. Only problem, I could`nt get down the plot. Owen next door was feeling a little off so it was a trip in to Pilgrim Hospital and get him checked out. That was yesterday at about 1. Poor old sod is still there in MAU. Looking quite peaky but the cheek is still very much there. Going to look after him a bit more once they sort him out.

Nice old geezer. Not good to see him like that. Get better soon.

Quick dig?

Nearly finished the bean trench (pit of oblivion). Lots of horse manure and sawdust for the bottom and a good mix up of the soil. Been hard work getting it ready but a couple of months down the track and the beans should love it. And the groundwork is done for a asparagus bed for next year and onwards.

Its still damn cold but was quite nice digging. Did notice how dry the soil was just a couple of spits down. Not been enough rain by any shape of the imagination so I`m going to have to increase our water storage potential in case there is a hosepipe ban and they turn the water off down the site.

Chickens are laying as well as ever.

Cold, so Cold!!!

Well yet another weekend has gone by without going up to the plot. However, one thing we did get is a greenhouse. All I have to do is build it.

Aw well, nose to the grind and all that at work.
